Try something new and stay on farm, experience a traditional rural life at Jabana village.
Jabana is village in Paro Dzongkhag located on the Chuzom- Haa highway. It was considered one of the poorest villages in the dzongkhag. It was one of the last villages in the dzongkhag to be electrified in 2004. But now, things have changed. Today the farmers grow varieties of commercial crops such as Potatoes, cabbage, apple, radish, spinach, beans, carrots, peas and chilies. Dairy farming has become a successful commercial venture for many farmers with most of them owning high breed cattle.
